When a solar power system is installed to supplement your electrical power consumption it is converted to AC and is wired to the bus bar in your service panel,” explains Jerry Lynch. Direct Current (DC) electricity generated by photovoltaic cells feed into the inverter panel and supplements the supply. It actually subtracts from your metered power and in effect, makes the meter roll backwards, erasing usage of the past.”

KW-hour consumption can be reduced significantly once the system is installed and running.

There are other factors that need to be considered explains Lynch, for example, not all commercial consumers of electric power realize the change in cost to them by working with peak power rates and considerations. By incorporating all the economic factors, credits, and engineering configurations, a commercial facility can reap a definite benefit, however, it usually requires and upfront investment.

“There’s a green side to the story,” explains Lynch. “People want to see, feel and pronounce the good in taking a proactive and progressive approach to utilizing renewable energy.”

“In mastering new product development, the ability to mesh all of these skills and abilities from both subcultures into one unified effort is critical, and greatly impacts the success of an organization.”

Taking the time and due diligence to calculate and consider the investment, is the best way to embrace and benefit from cultural challenge, can suddenly become a powerful asset for the organization.

Renewable energy may easily be that creative solution firms seek in their effort to reduce total operating costs.

There is also a social responsibility that is important and worthwhile for firms to consider. The “green” stewardship that a renewable energy implementation program affords, may be broadcast to their community at large. “There’s a green side to the story,” explains Lynch. “People want to see, feel and pronounce the good in taking a proactive and progressive approach to utilizing renewable energy. Nevertheless, to do it right, it pays to have some guidance in navigating the maze of possibilities that would make it best for them and best for the environment. That’s where we come in.”

FedEx and Johnson & Johnson have already installed solar systems on some of their facilities and properties, and have committed to adding more. Toyota Motor Corporation, who now lead the United States in auto sales, has not only had a smash hit with their hybrid vehicles, but their 624,000-square-foot California headquarters facility, which opened last April in Torrance, Calif., is the largest corporate construction project ever awarded a gold rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.

“It pays to have some guidance in navigating the maze of possibilities that would make it best for them and best for the environment.”
